The Switched Cabinet CDU CW-16HD2/E provides configuration and management over a power distribution unit remotely. In addition, this units provides power monitoring and environmental monitoring. The GUI interface provides the ability to reboot single or dual-power servers with one command. SNMP alerts can be set up in the event power or environmental conditions exceed specified thresholds and user specific access rights can be assigned to designated outlets or groups.
This Sentry PIPS CDU provides the ability to provide power monitoring per inlet/infeed. Power information per infeed includes current, voltage, power, apparent power, crest factor, reactance, power factor and accumulated energy.
This information replaces branch circuit monitoring devices typically installed in the power distribution panel or remote power panel (RPP) with higher accuracy and lower cost monitoring of each circuit attached to the CDU.
Combine the Sentry PIPS Switched Cabinet PDU with the Sentry Power Manager software tool to gain power usage information across multiple Cabinet PDU's individual IP address.
The Switched Cabinet CDU products provide the flexibility needed for all data centers and remote sites; including support for 20-amp or 30-amp power input; 208-240V or 230V configurations; UL 60950-1 branch circuit protection; EN 60950-1:2001, SSL & SSH security; and SNMP-based input current monitoring. For cabinets with mid-density servers, this cabinet distribution unit delivers unparalleled remote management solutions.
